Pros: Luxurious, beautiful, and convenient to shopping and restaurants
Cons: They only serve Pepsi -- bad news for Coke lovers!
The Bottom Line: This beautiful hotel is located next to the Lenox Mall -- some of the best shopping in Atlanta. The service and food at the hotel was excellent.

| diverpam's Full Review: JW Marriott Hotel Buckhead Atlanta |
I spent my 40th birthday at this hotel.. quite by accident.. but what a treat.
I realized I would be in Atlanta on business and would turn 40 away from my family. At first I was a little upset about it, then I realized it might not be all bad. I would be staying in a lovely hotel and I could have room service whenever I wanted. That is always a treat for me.
Location, Location, Location
I knew the hotel was in a great location in Northeast Atlanta-- my favorite part of Atlanta -- right next to Lenox Mall. Who says I can't buy my own birthday present?
Beautiful, Luxurious Hotel
The hotel itself is very luxurious and plush from the moment you step inside. The crisply uniformed bellman greet us and my luggage was whisked away to appear shortly in my room.
The lobby was very tasteful and elegant and the check-in process was very smooth and professional.
Great Room
My room was very comfortable and roomy, with a queen size bed, large desk, television in a stylish console, and wonderful bathroom. There was a table and chairs, as well. All the better for room service!
Loved the Bathroom
I think my bathroom was my favorite part of the hotel. It was a dark green (very rich looking) marble. The thick towels draped over both towel racks and even obscured the wall phone that was conveniently located near the throne.
In fact, I didn't know the phone was there until my husband called. "What's that?" I thought, "Is my towel ringing?"
No, it was just one of the three total phones in the room. No matter where I was a phone was convenient.
There were ample toiletries and plenty of towels. I love it when a hotel provides lots of towels. When I'm out shopping or in meetings all day, I like to come in and take a shower. There's nothing worse than having to call and beg for more towels.
Room Service - Prompt and Delicious
I treated myself to a delicious room service breakfast on my birthday. It was delivered promptly and cooked to my specification. I sipped my hot tea and read the USA Today as I munched perfectly crisp bacon and toast just the right shade of done. Lots of fresh creamy butter and an assortment of jellies and jams.
My stay was even more perfect when a large bouquet of flowers arrived from my husband.
Excellent Service
The service at every contact was professional and courteous and I as made to feel like a special guest. My room was spotless and well-maintained, as were the hallways.
Worst Part of My Stay -- Having to Leave!
I got spoiled in just a few days at this great hotel. I think I would have stayed there for a week if they would have let me.
Note: I thought it was a bit ironic that only Pepsi products were served in this hotel -- since Atlanta is the hometown of Coca-Cola!
